The conversion of two existing Dutch Barns into three holidays lets on the outskirts of popular market town, Ludlow.
The barns had undergone various ad-hock additions throughout the years. Lean-to’s and adjoining sheds were removed to reveal their original singular form.
We chose to reference the agricultural context with a mixture of timber and corrugated cladding. Whilst the arrangement of the openings is influenced by the original haylofts and service hatches that were present in parts of the existing facade.
We also provided design and direction for the interiors, with bespoke built in storage and sourcing for furniture, fixtures and fittings. Working with local crafts people to create a contextually relevant solution.
